Q: Besides the pandemic, what were the toughest challenges you faced?

A: One of the most memorable was selling at a night market 70 kilometers from home. It rained, and we drove an hour to get there, only to make just RM4 in sales that day. We also never took days off, as we were supporting my parents’ cancer treatments. Family responsibility has always been a strong motivator for us.

Q: What are your future plans for the business?

A: We aim to open our own shop in Temerloh Jaya and get a food truck so we can sell at different locations. Our dream is to expand the business and go on Umrah with our family.
