Cooking & Serving Tips for the Perfect Ayam Gunting

Defrost for at least 8 hours at room temperature. Avoid rinsing with or soaking in water, as this may affect the texture while causing the food to spoil or become stale.

Coat the chicken pieces thoroughly with Alis Premium Fried Chicken Powder to create a crispy, golden, and flavourful outer layer.

Pre-heat cooking oil to approximately 180 °C. Use enough oil to ensure the chicken is fully submerged during frying.

Fry for about 5 minutes, turning the chicken occasionally (e.g. every 30s) to ensure even cooking and a crispy exterior.

Sprinkle Alis Premium Seasoning Powder on the surface while hot. Cut into bite-sized pieces, then serve immediately.
